英語の宿題（３）

ｎａｉｌ　について。

ここでは爪のことではなく、ｐｅｇ（釘）のことです。

釘にもサイズや材質によって様々な言い方があり、ネイルは辞書で「大釘」となっています。

a nail gun　は、オートマティカリーに釘を打ち込むマシーン（写真参照）だそうです。

いくらなんでも、それはニブイんとちゃう～とツッコミを入れずにいられません。人によっては、ごく稀に、痛みを感じない部分があるそうですね。でも、ちゃんと頭痛はしたということですし。婚約者の方は、コメントを見るかぎり、彼とご結婚されるんでしょうね。おめでとうございます♪

 

 

Summary: Incredible Accident in Man’s Brain

 

 Thirty-two-year-old man was working with a nail gun at his home in suburban Chicago . When he 

heard the bang sound  from the gun, nothing happened, nothing changed around him.

So he thought it was just failed. Just he misfired. He didn’t care anything about it.

 

 The next day, He had a terrible headache and went to the hospital. X-ray showed an incredible fact.

3 1/2 inch nail(a big sized peg) was stuck in his brain. He just didn’t realize that he had actually shot

himself in his head. His doctor said, “ Absolutely, this is an incredible accident.”

 

  His family was surprised badly, because he was talking, walking, doing almost everything as usual

for all the fact that he had it in for 36 hours. All his trouble was a headache.

 

 He was taken to transfer the hospital, where he had surgery. He recovered soon, eager to get back

to work .His fiancee yelled “Anyway He’s fine now. Fine.” He has the toughest, the strongest brain

in the world.
